At the BFI Leeds Film Academy I worked with other specially selected young filmmakers to create a short film. With the 'NTFS Level 2: Preparing to work in the Film Industry' qualification completed, I've got a strong link into the BFI and it's 16-25 aged filmmaking society.

Since the course, I've begun work on two film projects with the strong network I created. Keep an eye out for them.

After the BFI Film Academy I was selected for the 2020 Tyneside Screenwriting Residential where myself and a handful of other young writers were trained by professional screenwriters working today in industry. Our work was read aloud by actors in a theatre. The writers group, which was formed, still collaborate on projects.

I successfully completed 'An Introduction to Screenwriting' at the UEA. This course explored the screenwriting process, script analysis, character development and the use of dialogue to write an effective screenplay.

For the last few years, I've been travelling down to the BFI at Southbank in London for masterclasses and networking events. While I was there I begun working with a screenwriter called Gabriella Appicella who recognised my work and has (until recently due to COVID) tutored me with my feature screenplay 'The Darkman'.

While at a cinematography masterclass Paul Dudbridge described my work as "expressive", "of high quality", and "very well thought out - calculated".
